If you are not a fan of wearing garments, this might help you feel comfortable changing over to regular underwear. Garments were originally worn to set polygamist men apart from monogamist men. When I first switched to regular underwear, it felt strange at first, but was also very liberating to wear what I wanted. I never cared for garments and only wore them out of obligation. It angers me that my wife and I wore them for so many years!
